We are so lucky to have found Mrs. Moore. She has been working with our 5-year-old son, who is going into first grade, and our 3-year-old son, who is going into preschool over the summer. Her joy and passion for teaching are clearly evident. It's been such a joy to witness our boys learning/advancing their reading and writing skills so quickly with a truly warm, personal, and caring teacher. Mrs. Moore has made learning fun and exciting! Mrs. Moore is fantastic! We signed up our 7yo because we appreciate as professional parents how important writing and reading are to effective communication. We were a little concerned that he may be too young to start but Mrs. Moore adjusted for his focus and emotional aptitude and now he's the best writer and reader in his class. I was originally looking for an in-person tutor, not thinking virtual tutoring would be as effective, but I was wrong. After interviewing Mrs. Moore and hiring her, I quickly realized she's nailed virtual tutoring, and did so well before the pandemic. My son loves his 50 minutes with Mrs. Moore and never complains about having to participate. I sometimes hear them laughing, which tells me they have a good connection. Ms. Moore is absolutely the best! My two kiddos are 11 and 13 and over the year she has worked with them to bring their writing to the next level. She has an organized system and curriculum and it has helped them immensely. In addition over the summer, they read Treasure Island with her. It's been perfect. He went from barely passing his classes, to holding an 89/90. She and my son have come so far in his studies only working 1 hour a week.
